Finally replace my LG dryer after 18 years of reliable service and I upgraded to a latger 9.0 cu ft dryer. Since I couldnt use my former 27 inch pedestal I shopped for a 29 inch pedestal. I could only find the matching graphite steel pedestal for a reasonable price on the LG website. I could have purchased a black LG 29 inch pedestal but that would look really funky. Install was really easy and I appreciate the slight design change in securing the dryer onto the pedestal. Glad I got the matching colors and looking towards another 18 years of reliable service

No issues with the product only with the installers. Lowes does a terrible job with the company they have installing their products. Would recommend installing yourself so you know that you have someone competent doing the job.

I BOUGHT THE PEDESTAL AND PEDESTAL WASHER FROM LG DIRECTLY AND THEY LOST IT IN SHIPPING AFTER MONTHS OF WAITING. I PRETTY MUCH GOT AN OH WELL AND GOT MY MONEY BACK. SO I WENT TO TWO DIFFERENT STORES AND BOUGHT THE ITEMS. I LOVE THE PEDESTAL BUT THE WASHER IS NOT AS GOOD AS I WAS EXPECTING. IT TEARS UP MY UNDERGARMENTS TO THE POINT THAT THEY ARE RUINED EVEN ON THE HAND WASH CYCLE. IT IS REALLY DISAPPOINTING. YOU ALSO ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO USE ANY BLEACH IN THE WASHER SO THERE GOES WASHING REALLY DIRTY SMALL LOADS. SO WHAT DO THEY EXPECT TO BE WASHED IN IT? IT REALLY IS NOT AS USEFUL AS I WAS EXSPECTING ESPECIALLY FOR THE COST.

Some of us have dryer vents that are under the unit and not behind the unit. Dryers come with the option to mount a kit to discharge out of the bottom saves space safer due to no pipes coiled behind the unit to trap lint allows the unit to be pushed to the rear wall but these pedestals need to have a perforated slot option cut into them to allow the pedestal to be used in a bottom discharge configuration. I modify the drawer by cutting the slot and building a barrier around the vertical discharge. Sure it voids the pedestal warranty but we get to enjoy the units sitting higher and we dont have to bend over as far to wash and dry clothes and we dont have to worry about a dryer lint fire behind the unit.

I love this pedestal it lifts the dryer up to the perfect height so I dont have to bend over to get clothes out. I am sure everyone uses it for storage but I use it as a clothes hamper its the perfect size. It actually holds way more than you would think. This is a must buy

Great pedestal matches my dryer and is the perfect height for my matching dryer to set a laundry basket right under the door to put fresh clean laundry in a basket rather than getting a arm load of laundry and getting it in the floor and has decent space to put my detergent and other household cleaners in out of sight out of mind

Excellent product it definitely is an extra asset to have for storage but in my case I am very tall so it helped to set the machine up high enough for me to load clothes without having to bend. I would definitely recommend this product

We are happy with this LG LAUNDRY PEDESTAL - GRAPHITE STEEL. It keeps both our washer with sidekick and dryer at the same height. A bonus feature is that it provides some storage space. We were worried initially if it gets hot when we operate the dryer. But luckily the dryer is well insulated so we can keep anything inside the pedestal storage space. Note that it is not tall enough to keep some of the large laundry detergent cans though.

This is more a question than a review. Is there supposed to be something in the handle part the space that the control panel occupies on the washer sidekick? If not is there something that should be where the screw holes are? It looks very unfinished the way it is. Im wondering of something was left out with the installation since the washer sidekick was missing the measuring cup.

When i try to put the t clips on my dryer model WDP5V they wont slide in the slot or stay in place. The LG video shows them just sliding in but that is not the case. I get 1 or 2 to barely stay on and by the time i get to the 3rd one one falls off. I have called customer support to no avail. They have no idea how to do it. They keep telling me to watch the videos. Videos didnt help Thee must be a trick to it with out bending the metal around the edges of the slots. Dryer DLEX9000V Pedestal WDP5V

Ive had my pedestals for a lil less than a year it wont close properly for a few months now. Its not that big of a gap - but it is still annoying to look at. Would like LG to solve this problem.

Only purchased for uniformity and necessity to raise washer to comfortable height. Cant believe why its not included with washer? Crazy price tag for what it is Its only a glorified pedestal that matches the beautiful washer that would look bad with blocks underneath to bring up to desired level. OK....this does have a storage drawer

The pedestal is a good feature. The main benefit is that it raises the washer/dryer up about 14 off the floor so you dont have to stoop over to remove the clothes. Main objection is that the pedestals cost over $300 each or over $600 per pair for the washer/dryer which is very had to justify for not bending over as far to retrieve your laundry.

This washing machine is amazing we got it a month ago and I love it its fast leaves the clothes really clean and almost dried. It plays music when the load its done but the best part is the capacity simply amazing how much you can fit in it in one load no more wasting my Saturdays doing laundry.

My husband did not believe we needed these however I insisted. Now that we have them he would not have it any other way. They provided extra storage and we do not have to bend over to do the laundry as these lift the W D up to mid-level. Easy to clean. Very convenient and stylish.

Other than for adding height to the washer/dryer so I didnt have to bend so far when using the machine which I like I wanted to use my pedestals for my laundry detergents and other laundry products. Unfortunately most products are too tall to live in the drawers right side up which is too bad especially because they arent inexpensive.
